I thought it would be useful to record the materials and techniques I was using to make a site specific sculpture as part of a New Fibre Art exhibition. The exhibition was in a medieval garden at Norton Priory in Runcorn. I made a cocoon of layered and waxed paper, with hand made dyed paper protected by the outer layers. I placed it in a fig tree. Exposed to the elements, I expected it to disintegrate quickly, so the book would serve as a record. (The book was exhibited inside the priory.)
