Thordis the Soothsayer (based on a Skagastrond legend).
This sequence of words and of digital images alludes to the sea and the land around Skagastrond, and a local myth. Each page feels, and opens differently. Some pages are entirely of silk, some of ‘laminated’ silk and long-fibred Abaca paper tissue. Other pages have shapes and pattern embedded between the layers of tissue. The digital images are interleaved with pages where words are fragmented and repeated, drifting over the surface of the page.
